Meet Heidi
My journey to wellness has been one of healing, growth, and discovering that sometimes our greatest challenges lead us exactly where we're meant to be.
Wellness, movement, and staying active have always been an important part of my life. When a post-concussion injury changed everything, I found myself searching for ways to heal—not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. That journey led me first to yoga, where I discovered the powerful connection between movement, breath, and healing. As I continued to explore holistic approaches to wellness, I was introduced to Reiki, and later found my passion for supporting women through menopause coaching.
Each step of my own healing journey has shaped the work I do today. I understand what it's like to feel disconnected from your body, overwhelmed by change, and uncertain about what comes next. I also know the hope and confidence that can come from finding the right support. My goal is to share the knowledge, tools, and experiences I've gained so that others can navigate their own journeys with greater ease, understanding, and self-compassion.
I am a certified 200-hour Yoga Teacher (YTT 200) with additional training in prenatal and children's yoga, a Reiki Master practitioner, and a certified Menopause Coach. My approach combines evidence-informed education with compassionate support, helping people develop practical, sustainable strategies that support their overall well-being.
My yoga offerings continue to evolve with the needs of my community and the changing seasons. Whether it's a gentle class to unwind, a restorative practice, a themed workshop, or Yoga to Go, I love creating experiences that meet people exactly where they are. Reiki sessions provide a quiet opportunity to rest, release stress, and support the body's natural healing process, while menopause coaching offers personalized guidance through perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause with a focus on lifestyle, nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, and symptom support.
After many rewarding years as an elementary school teacher, I retired to devote my time fully to wellness. Teaching has always been at the heart of who I am, and today that passion lives on through educating, encouraging, and supporting others as they move through life's challenges and transitions.
At Elements Yoga & Wellness, I've created a calm, welcoming space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, and feel supported without judgment. Whether you join me for yoga, Reiki, menopause coaching, a workshop, or a group program, my hope is that you'll leave feeling calmer, stronger, more informed, and empowered to move forward with confidence.
Healing isn't about becoming someone new, it's about finding your way back to yourself. I'd be honoured to walk alongside you on that journey.
